My Thoughts on The Past Press Conference

To test 3 for bel313, I feel this is the most demanding test and awesome. This is because to test 3 I learn something before I just saw on television which is forum in the form of press conference. To two groups that have made a presentation before, I learned a lot of things to be in a real situation press conference. For example how to interrupt in question that are being questioned, how to answer questions from the audience demanded and most interesting is a situation where we have to scramble to ask questions to the panel. I felt I was on the battle field who raced to get the attention of the panel so that I can ask at once to get the marks. For the my group presentation next week, I'll prepare with information sufficient to answer all the questions from the audience.

Presentation story time

Assalamualaikum and good evening. Last Thursday, Bubbles and Babies had done their presentation. Before this, Teech had gave us the opportunity to practice before this and for the real one we must be prepare for the real presentation. During Bubbles and Babies presentation, people were shouting and screaming to get the attention of presenters. It all because marks. Overall, its all because of marks. I learned how to tackle the audience and how to get the presenters attention.

PRESS CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE

        Although my group not done yet press conference, but i still could feel the anxiousness and excitement. Be presenter to conduct a press conference is really challenging task and i can feel it during practice time. But to me, the most challenging, anxiousness and excitement is when my leads as reporter to asking and questioning during press conference happen. I need to be more proactive to capture the presenter attention to get permission before asking the question .Although is quite difficult to get the attention, is okay to me. The more difficult to get something, the more you feel challenging and excitement. Actually my ambition when i was in primary school is to be a reporter in entertainment world hehehe (little laugh).So,by doing this press conference, at least i can know and learn a little bit about how to conduct press conference and the etiquette as reporter during press conference. Bubbles and Babies group presentation

Assalamulaikum everyone. On the last Thursday, the first two Bubbles and Babies group has presented the results of their work. During the presentation, the audience focus on the presentation but during the Q&A session turned into chaotic atmosphere with a barrage of questions from the audience. For those who are silent and passive, they failed to ask or an opinion. When I see people are shouting and screaming just to get attention from the presenters, it was a scary moment for me and you need to answered the question given by the audience in 5 SECOND or Teech will ask to proceed with next question.  Next Thursday going to be our group presentation and we as a group need to be prepare with the possible question that the audience may ask. As a whole, I learned how to answer questions from the audience and ask questions to the presenters.

Press Conference (Practice and the Real One)

Practice :
             
              I just want to share something about the press conference that i had already in the previous class. It is just a practice. My press conference is about "The existence of the mermaid. Is it exist in Malaysia or not". Actually I'm not preparing enough for that practice. What I present at the in front is just depend on my knowledge. I'm not preparing enough and I already didn't find any information to get my presentation prepared.

               When I want to answer to their question which is the people from the floor, I just say again and again what I have said. I scared that they might be ask many times and many more. Thank to God that they didn't know much about technology. But it is just a practice. No marks will be given if I do the press conference as that it is just a practice.

              But I'm not relieve enough as my real press conference will be held on Tuesday night, maybe. I must well prepared enough to get the press conference ease enough as the other two group that had do their press conference which is the haunted Karak Highway group and the fairies group. Wish my luck in the next real press conference. That's all from me. If I do any mistake, please forgive as a human that never get away from do a mistakes.

The Real One :

              On Thursday, 22th August 2013, The Fairies group and The Haunted Karak Highway had do their press conference. Their press conference title is so interesting. I like The Haunted Karak Highway one. I prefer more to their group. It is about a paranormal entity. They do a research about a paranormal entity. I like their information. I as the interviewer from Fly FM, I attack to them with so many question. They said they get sponsor from the UiTM, but they didn't put any logo at their brochure to sign that they get sponsored by the UiTM. HAHAHA it is so funny when they didn't know how to answer my question and just give to me the answer that not are so relevant enough. If you ever read this my comment about your, I want to ask the forgiveness from end of my hair till end of my nails. HAHAHA. . .  it's so funny. . .

Last Thursday Experience

Last Thursday, two groups have done their forum and It was my first time experiencing press conference. For me, it was a good experience because I feel like I am in the real situation of press conference. As a floor, I feel excited and also nervous too. When the groups have done their presentation, the floor have to compete with each other to get chance to ask question and I only get one chance to ask. For the next forum, I will try my best to ask questions. Besides that, I want to congratulate to group that has done their forum.
